About TennStand

Williamson County, Tennessee is blessed with an abundance of farmstands. Residents use their beautiful land in Middle Tennessee to grow crops and raise chickens and make real food. However, just by their very nature, farmstands are somewhat difficult to access. They're typically small household operations on private properties in the rural part of town, so the average person would have little reason to visit one. The average person who doesn't live within the neighborhood of a farmstand may actually not even know it exists. We found that to be a little bit of a bummer because farmstands are one of the few places left that give us access to real food. That's when we knew that we had to make a more fruitful connection between farmstands and customers, and we understood that the way to do that was by making it more convenient. From that sentiment, TennStand was born. Our goal is simple: Make it convenient for customers to buy real food from farmstands so that farmstands have the incentive to make more of it. Hopefully, by strengthening the relationship between the two, it serves as a small step towards getting real food back on our plates. We look forward to serving the customers, the farmstands, and this goal every day that we're in operation.
